Responsible AI: a challenge for European sovereignty

Responsible artificial intelligence focuses on maximizing benefits for society while limiting potential risks and negative effects, such as discrimination, privacy violations, and uncontrolled automation. It builds trust by ensuring that technologies respect human values and legal standards. There is a link between responsible AI and European sovereignty. Among the highlights of this edition was the creation of Mistral Compute, a sovereign AI infrastructure for Europe, the result of a strategic partnership between Nvidia and Mistral AI. This ambitious project will provide Europe with computing capabilities commensurate with its ambitions, thereby strengthening its technological sovereignty in the face of global giants.
