It is home to major players in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries such as Sanofi, Ipsen and Servier, as well as world-renowned research institutes like Institut Pasteur, Institut du Cerveau, Institut Gustave Roussy and Institut Curie.

Booming international investment

- Kadans Science Partner, specialized in scientific real estate, has opened The Hive, a campus dedicated to oncology, in Villejuif. Another large-scale project, The Mix, will be built in Paris-Saclay.
- As for Biolabs, it has chosen Hôtel-Dieu, in the heart of Paris, as the location for a healthcare innovation center in partnership with AP-HP and the University of Paris. By 2028, this 10,000 m² site will be home to around 100 startups and foster the development of new medical solutions.
