Buying Online and Goods Delivery

More than 7 million people in Paris Region are buying online and 84% of those purchases generate deliveries. E-commerce represents 20% of the logistics needs in Paris Region and its share increases every year by 15%.

A Priority for Railroad and Inland Waterways

In Paris Region, 90 % of the goods are carried by road, only 6 % by inland waterways, and 4 % by railroad. Paris Region is willing to develop waterways and railroad logistics by developing infrastructure in suburban and dense areas.

 

Greener Delivery Vans and Trucks
